Understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. Apply your business insights, build and maintain client relationships, software and services into client-valued solutions and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions.
Create high-quality solutions that make meaningful impacts and provide insights to optimize initiatives and opportunities around the areas of integration, governance, quality, hybrid data management, and artificial intelligence. Deploy and coordinate your insight with most valueable software and people to meet our customers' criteria for success.
Help to transform our clients' data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Introduction A Technology Sales Engineer role (what we internally call a, 'Brand Technical Specialist') within IBM's Data & AI brand means accelerating enterprises' success by improving their ability to understand their data and extract value from it. It means providing solutions that enable people across organizations, in multiple roles, the ability to turn data into actionable insights without having to wait for IT, using diferent approaches with artificial inteligence at the core. It means selling multi-award winning software, and world-class design practices that enables business analysts to ask new questions and use artificial Inteligence to transform work and the business. Required Technical and Professional Expertise We are looking for a person with 3-5 years of experience in Hybrid Data Management and/or Data Governance solutions preferably with experience in diferent industries, specially banking, telco and utilities, with an apettite to hands-on with technology.
Good knowledge on integration, governance, quality, hybrid data management and artificial intelligence disciplines, or at least in 3 or those. Know-how on IBM solutions is an added plus.
Hability to improve processes, integrations and security from development to production time, sucessfull requirements gathering and definition of achievable success criteria.
Composition and fulfillment of documentation on requests for information and proposals.
Good skills in some of the following disciplines / technologies:
# Experience in platform management and maintenance, focused on critical tasks such as:
Design, Operation, Coordination, and Monitoring
# Expertise in technologies like:
* Data Stack
Db2, Mongo, watsonx.data, Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, Google Bigquery, AWS Data Stack, OCP, Virtualization
* Integration
ETL/ELT solutions, Quality analysis tools, and Security patterns
* Data Governance stack
Data governance frameworks (like for example Colibra, Informatica), Lineage tools, Business Intelligence solutions
* Open Source
Presto, Spark and Notebooks
* Languages
Python, Java, and Bash
* Artificial Intelligence
Traditional and Generative AI, model lifecycle governance, tunning, monitoring.
Soft skills:
