COCUNAT is looking for a
NEW PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER to lead our production planning team in Barcelona We seek a strategic, analytic and experienced profile willing to guide the project with passion and high professionalism.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible of Production and Planning
- Implement the department strategy, setting targets and forecasting and managing the Supply Business Plan
- Manage a team of production planner & production specialist.
- Establishing goals and functions of team members.
- Motivate the team and ensure they deliver proper added value.
- Conduct regular data-driven analysis and research to identify areas of improvement.
- Follow-up and challenge KPIs. Retorting to COO.
- Deviation’s control (in terms of production and planning).
- Project management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with growth objectives.
- Problem solving.
- Inventory and stock control, minimize working capital.
- Understand production processes and suppliers/manufacturers ecosystem.
- Build feasible production plan to respond to the demand (feasible in terms of capacity and timing).
- Managing the production of the products, granting the optimal stocks levels.
- Organization and planning processes, identify/define and follow-up improvement action plans.
- Ensure Production Planning Master Data reliability (completeness, consistency, alignment with company strategy).
- Assess impact of planning in terms of finished products availability and alert COO in case of major impact (projected shortage, overstock).
- Optimize the demand and product planning tools
- Process optimization
- Managing agreements and contracts of the department (including agreements with the manufacturers)
- Decision making and ownership
- Cost control and product portfolio profitability
- Assess and prioritize new projects based on market potential and business impact.
- Define novelties ramp-up production plan
- Establishing a S&OP process and coordinate with relevant departments
Your profile
- Proven experience as a production planner, ideally in Luxury and Cosmetic industry (min. 2 years).
- Proven experience (min 2 years) in managing an operational team (min. 2 people).
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and MRP principles Working knowledge of Business Central and MS Office.
- Critical thinking to challenge workshop organization, processes, and announced capacity.
- Pro-activity and reactivity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts. Assertive communication.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strategic thinker who can balance short-term goals with long-term objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations and reports for executive audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Ability to simplify complex problems, create pragmatic solutions, and find shortcuts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships across different teams and levels of seniority.
- Customer-centric, empathetic mindset with excellent listening skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
