Job description
Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Project HSE Engineer to work in their facilities located in Tenerife, Spain. This opportunity requests availability for 28X28 days rotation schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project HSE Engineer is responsible for assisting and supporting the Project HSSE Team through the administration, development and monitoring of key project HSSE management & supervision on a Subcontractor Yard & Quayside in Tenerife, Santa Cruz, Spain for the interfaces with the planned stop over of the project FPSO.
TASKS
The Project HSSE engineer will support in
- Perform daily HSE inspection and control of worksites with Subcontractor;
- Participation in worksite SV & O “HSE Inspection” Program concentrating on high risk activities, IOGP Life Saving Rules
- Work Authorization
- Line Of Fire
- Mechanical Lifting
- Bypassing Safety Controls
- Working at Height
- Material / Personnel transportation ; Driving / Quayside controls
- Coordinating HSE training of employees as required in line with project HSE training matrix
- Manage and display HSSE communications media & information on site offices
- Assist for data-entry and monitoring within Intelex System; leading and lagging HSE management (min worksite operational reporting)
- Follow up and collate key Sub-contractors to deliver HSSE project specific KPI’s reporting on a monthly basis
- Assist Subcontractor in Risk assessments preparation/participation reviews
- Monitor regularly the project HSSE logistics process for:
- Hotel compliance
- Vehicle & JM monitroing
- Comply at all times with the project HSSE requirements
