Background and context
The CRM Department drives the implementation and adoption of relevant marketing, onboarding, sales & service processes and tools related to the Salesforce platform (Pardot, CPQ, Service Cloud, Knowledge Management etc.). The Department ensures that Awin’s Marketing, Onboarding, Sales & Client Services staff can conduct their work efficiently and effectively driving high levels of Customer Experience with best-in-class ways of working and tooling.
As a Business Analyst you will be the liaison between the business and development teams by clearly understanding the ‘problems to be solved’ and then leading collection, analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements, suggesting design solutions which support Awin’s commercial ambitions.
You will be reporting to the Team Lead of the Service Workstream within the CRM Department.
Key Tasks
- Drive an evidence-based approach by conducting analysis to validate the problems to be solved.
- Lead and facilitate project workshops, engaging stakeholders, subject matter experts and attendees at all levels.
- Elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of the business’ requirements.
- Identifying where a common approach is lack and proposing best practices.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency, and break down high-level information into details.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to communicate requirements identified.
- Lead UAT business planning and execution. Review QA and write UAT test scripts. Manage UAT with end-users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off.
- Analyse and understand the value of initiatives, supporting our development team in tracking our progress against key objectives and ensuring we deliver value for the business.
- Work with the Global Business Operations Team Lead to ensure that initiatives you lead drive successful outcomes.
Skills & Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years working in a similar functional/business analyst role with Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP.
- Expertise in a variety of modelling & analysis tools, methods and standards, e.g., Use cases, User stories, Business Process Modelling, system analysis, data flow diagrams.
- Strong problem solving, decision making, negotiation, and partnership skills.
- Willingness to learn about and document organizational setup, and develop perspectives on how changes could drive better outcomes.
- Comfortable challenging opinions and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Excellent work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Experienced in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and running user acceptance testing.
- Ability to write SQL or SOQL is a plus but not required.
