Job description
Role Purpose :
This is a newly created position, which will collaborate with the Europe Finance VP in analysis of European performance, definition and follow up of the action plans and implementation of Global projects in European scope.
This is an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects all over Europe.
Responsibilities :
Acting as a right hand for the Europe Finance VP
Development of a solid understanding of European business performance
Analysis and challenge of European actuals, budgets and forecasts - in connection with regional finance directors
Preparation of monthly business reviews with regional financial directors for the destination of EVPs Sales & Operations and VP Finance Europe
Benchmarking of regional financial performance, providing recommendations on action points and following up the results
Influencing sub-regional FDs, high exposure to the senior management of Sibelco (CFO, Sales & Ops EVPs), acting in in the context of organizational change where the resources are scarce, priorities need to be negotiated, alternative solutions need to be explored on a constant basis to ensure the achievement of goals
Drive sharing the best practices across European regions
Providing insights and analytics for ad-hoc analysis required by the VP finance and Sales & Ops EVPs
Support Europe Finance VP in implementing of Group projects on the European scope and in driving the performance and process improvements
