Job Description:Location: Fully remote, EU timezone (CET +/- 2hours)Start date: ASAPLanguages: English is mandatory; French is a plusOur client: Cloud Computing / Blockchain / AI - European SaasResponsibilities:Design and develop scalable, distributed, server-side software applications and microservicesCollaborate within an Agile Scrum team to define and prioritize backlog items, and proactively identify risks and dependenciesCreate clean and maintainable code solutionsImplement remote solutions facilitating peer-to-peer communicationEnsure cross-platform functionality and application compatibilityParticipate actively in the application lifecycle managementOptimize solutions for performance and reliabilityEstablish and enhance security measuresEnhance code quality by writing unit tests and implementing automationEngage closely with product and design teams to grasp end-user requirements thoroughlyFoster collaboration with team members to integrate innovative ideasDevelop reusable code librariesConduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to development teamsChampion and uphold best engineering practices, maintaining high standards for quality and craftsmanship. Required qualifications:Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a Senior/Lead Backend EngineerHold an MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical fieldDemonstrate technical proficiency in Go/Java technologiesPossess extensive understanding of design patterns and multi-threaded programmingHave practical knowledge of internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTML, and XMLFamiliarity with service-oriented designs and methodologies including web services, REST, and JSONAbility to create well-structured RESTful APIs and comprehend their implications on client-side application codeUnderstanding of Agile fundamentals and adherence to the Agile Manifesto. Preferred qualifications:Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and container runtimes like DockerProficiency in using tracing and logging systems for rapid diagnosis of production issuesTrack record of developing business-critical, large-scale systems with high availabilityFamiliarity with public cloud services, particularly Amazon AWS, Azure, or OVHExposure to continuous delivery pipelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
