Job description
RINA is currently recruiting for a Certification Technical Coordinatorto join its office in Spain within the Certification EMEA Region Division.
Mission
The mission of this role is to oversee and coordinate technical aspects of certification activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and evaluate technical aspects of certification processes to ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with technical experts and assessors to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and certification requirements.
- Support in identifying Technical - Commercial Partners in the area.
- Coordination with commercial resources to define development plans for the services of interest.
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration throughout the certification process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients seeking certification, addressing queries and concerns related to technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to certification procedures, technical specifications, and compliance records.
- Ensure that all relevant documents are properly controlled and accessible to authorized personnel.
- Assist in the planning and execution of audits, ensuring that technical aspects are thoroughly reviewed, and compliance is assessed.
- Collaborate with audit teams to address any technical findings and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct training sessions for internal staff and external clients on technical requirements, standards, and certification processes.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments to update training materials and resources.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced procedures.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, IT, or similar).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a certification body or a related technical field would be an advantage.
- Good English skills.
- Previous experience in coordinating technical aspects of certification processes.
- In-depth understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with certification processes and requirements.:
- Ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex technical issues.
