Customer Development Manager (CDM) – Sell-Through Channel
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Development Manager (CDM) to join our team. This role is pivotal in building strategic relationships with our Consumer Sell-Through Channel Partners across Spain, driving sales excellence, and achieving shared business goals.
In this role you will develop strategies to increase units sold and net sales across small, medium, and large categories. You will also be in charge of enhancing Goodyear's share of business and customer potential through strategic account management and value creation.
Prime Responsibilities
- Customer Knowledge & Relationship Building: Deeply understand the customer's business, strategy, and objectives to align with our goals. Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
- Partnership Strategic Plan: Lead the creation and management of joint business plans, setting clear goals, metrics, and targets.
- Unique Value Proposition Development: Identify and develop compelling value propositions tailored to each partner, leveraging our brand and tools for mutual growth.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Organize and lead multi-functional teams to leverage diverse expertise and insights, fostering a collaborative partnership environment.
- Sales Execution: Ensure timely execution of partnership plans, adapt to changes, and continuously seek improvement to achieve partnership goals.
Required Experience & Essential Competencies :
- 3-5 years in sales with a minimum of 4 years in Key Account Management. Expertise in category management, sales negotiation, and strategic planning
- Proven track record in major account management and executive-level relationship building, preferably in the automotive industry.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; or equivalent experience.
- Strong channel partner relationship building.
- Collaborative teamwork and effective communication.
- In-depth product/category/market/competition knowledge.
- Cross-functional leadership and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in English (at least C1 level).
