NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained by C2X to recruit a Project Manager- Inside Batter Limits to be based in Madrid, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities - Development of technical study workscopes including Pre-FEED, FEED (ISBL) design and EPC packages
- Manage or at least, support in market engagement with supply chain, e.g. RFI, RFQ and associated technical bid evaluations and technical due diligence, with a focus on technology vendors and service providers
- Ensure effective coordination of internal and external engineering resources throughout the project
- Management of technical queries from consultants and vendors
- Engineering input into, and review of, deliverables during Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed engineering project phases
- Establish project procedures, templates and tools to successfully deliver against project requirements
- Provision and review of technical input into project techno-economic modelling
- Input into contracting and procurement strategy development
- Contribution and participation in key project reviews (e.g. design reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, RAM, risk and assurance workshops)
- Assure that all technical gating requirements are being met
- Ensure effective communications among primary disciplines (i.e. engineering, contracts, commercial, external consultants and vendors)
- Competent in budget and schedule management, including management of change
- Support Senior Project Manager and/or JV Engineering Manager in internal reporting and key activities as required
Accountable for - Development of ISBL Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC scopes
- Delivery of project scopes in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Effective coordination of various engineering disciplines with technology providers, consultants and vendors
- Develop and maintaining strong relationships with key interfaces, including partners and local authorities
Critical competences Profile background and capabilities - Minimum 10-15 years experience in project management roles in industrial plant
- Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent BSC (preferably process, mechanical or civil)
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages preferred, written and oral
- Hold full Spanish working rights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including project team members, contractors, and management.
- Experience in green energy infrastructure or PtX technologies preferable
