Platform Android Engineer (m/d/f)
Employment Area: IT - Development // Location: Barcelona // Employment Type: Full-time
We are the One App team, and we want to take care of the Lidl Plus app key cross modules to improve the development experience of the SCRM product teams. In a complex environment we help them to focus on their own product core.
What you’ll Do
Improve, maintain, and provide core modules to help other mobile engineers work
Manage release pipelines and uploads to Play Store
Work in a cross-functional agile team being responsible of the implementation and getting involved in the entire development process.
Build high-quality software spreading a culture of quality throughout the company.
Deep experience in Kotlin/Java and Android Framework and Architecture.
Experience with coroutines
Knowledge of different project architectures like MVVM, MVP, etc.
Good understanding of architectural patterns and SOLID principles.
Skill to detect legacy code and understand when and how to refactor it. Propose clean solutions understanding other teams’ impact and responsibilities.
Experience about testing functionalities.
Fluency in English to work in a multi-cultural environment.
5+ years experience as Android Engineer
3+ years of experience with Kotlin
Experience optimizing builds.
Skill to develop release pipelines and Fastlane – Integration to Play Store.
Experience using or implementing a Design System.
Knowledge of other architectures like MVI, server rendering, reactive programming…
Experience with iOS Applications, Swift and libraries like Tuist, Cocoapods, Carthage…
React and React Native
Passion for learning new tools, languages and frameworks.
Ability to be creative and innovation-minded, self-motivated and proactive.
Fast adaptation to changing requirements and strong problem-solving skills.
We are looking for a software engineer who likes to find solutions and has no fear to try and learn new things.
You will be part of an international team composed by people from different countries and backgrounds, where you’ll be able to share your experience and knowledge to carry-out team work and meet the objectives.
On top of this, you’ll have a personal follow-up with your management team to help you understanding all business-related questions and guide you in your professional career.
