Jose found first-hand that the management of cyber risk was expensive, inefficient, and left his organization exposed to information gaps and inadequate insurance products that no solution could solve. Out of experience and need, Jose Seara founded DeNexus to meet the challenge which thousands of companies face, understanding and managing cyber risk exposure.

DeNexus is headquartered in Boston, MA with engineering based in Madrid, Spain.

Job Purpose/Position Summary

As an early member of our Account Executive team, you will have the opportunity to sell a solution that speaks to the needs of ICS/OT organizations. You will work closely with the VP of Sales to “go big”, leveraging forming foundational distribution partnerships to source and close enterprise deals in cybersecurity risk quantification.

Major responsibilities

Take owner ship for driving large Enterprise deals with C-level executives in cyber risk quantification.

Prospect and close new customers with in a defined market by getting on calls, sending emails and meeting prospects in person

Grow, nurture, and expand relationships with customers

Understand the technical nuances, features and benefits of the DeNexus’products

Work with internal stakeholders to build out new features based on prospect and customer feedback

Exceed revenue targets with pride and enthusiasm

Position requirements and experience

Deep understanding of cybersecurity and/or cyber risk assessment and quantification.

Relish the opportunity to be first to market with a new categorical solution in the industry.

Energetic and extremely motivated to contribute on the ground-floor of a well-funded startup company by generating new sales and working closely with the executive team.

Consultative in sales process and on structuring partnerships with prospects.

Self-starter that can collaborate with both Buyer prospects and internal team to build out and refine the product based on market needs.

Can close new business independently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively a cross all layers of an organization.

Ability to understand and translateBuyer/Prospect technical needs back to product development and executive team to improve the product.

Ability to build strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders (like product, engineering and marketing), identify challenges and work through them together.

Demonstrated willingness to rollup sleeves and tackle different challenges with a sense of urgency and accountability.

Thrive on exceeding revenue targets.
