About Qbeast
Qbeast is a spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) with an innovative approach to Big Data by providing great insights while accessing only the minimum quantity of data. We provide the necessary infrastructure and tools for companies to ingest, transform and analyze large amounts of data in seconds.
We are an international team based in Barcelona. We have successfully raised a significant amount of investments that allow us to comfortably fund our research and development efforts, ensuring the best experience for our customers.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an individual to join our team and work on our newly developed Universal Storage Engine (USE) product. This role will involve tasks related to both the frontend and backend components. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the team to implement unique features that are not currently available in the market.
As a key piece of our tech team, you’ll be doing:
- Frontend side: React, Vite, TypeScript, Redux, and TailwindCSS
- Backend side: mostly Python and shell scripts
- CI/CD integrations, building and updating containers (Docker)
- Other things of your interest, we’re a startup so there is lot to be done
To be part of the team, we require:
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree
- English proficient at work
- Willing to come to the office for 2 days a week
- Organized, autonomous, and proactive
- Willing to keep learning, sharing knowledge
- A great team player, helping others when needed
Our tech stack
- We are developing a revolutionary technology that will power data analytics for different processing frameworks, starting with Apache Spark
