Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and direct all accounting functions within our organization in Spain. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team of accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Shared Services Centre Director, you will play a crucial part in the effective management of our financial operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and supervise the monthly and annual accounting close process.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial accounts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Keep updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations, ensuring the organization’s compliance with all obligations.
- Lead and inspire a team of accountants, effectively assigning tasks and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and cultivate professional development within the team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide strategic financial information.
- Identify and lead initiatives aimed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
- Implement best accounting practices and internal procedures.
- Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely resolution of identified issues.
