Job Purpose
We are looking for a Logistic CI Manager EMEA based in Barcelona.
The key objectives of the role are:
- Drive & support Continuous Improvement initiatives within EMEA Logistics to achieve yearly savings target.
- Monitor & improve Logistics KPIs reporting across the region.
- Deploy ALPS content across the EMEA region
- Standardize and Improve Logistics Processes
Responsabilities
- Drive & support CI initiatives – helping to create new initiatives and follow-up on going ones to meet yearly savings target
- Monitor & improve Logistics KPI, s reporting across the region – Monthly reporting cycles with respect to HSE, OLC, OTIF
- Lead significant projects in Logistics including ones involving Sales across region e.g. defining SLA, s, MOQ, Delivery frequency
- Organize CI workshops together with Global Logistics / 4PL team – follow-up on the outcomes to convert them into ANT cards
- Deploy ALPS content across the EMEA region
- Educate the local Logistics teams in continuous improvement and foundational process for Deliver, starting from MDI in Deliver
- Drive standardization of processes across the region
- Organize the capability development for CI across the region
- Data analytics to create new opportunities for improvements
- Working closely with Global, Regional and Cluster logistics teams to bring synergies across the region
- Developing a team of Cluster CI Managers
Education & Experience
- University Degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering)
- At least 8 – 10 years’ experience: in similar positions.
- Expert in Transport / warehousing management
- Demand or Supply Planning management
- Continuous Improvement experience
- Lean Manufacturing mindset
- English Fluent. Other languages are a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Being able to inspire or motivate others without being in charge.
