Our Product Family Site Logistics & Management Operations concentrates on Warehouse & Inventory Management, Yard Management, as well as Site Logistics topics in general.
The Product team for Warehouse Management sets focus on the consulting, implementation and support of warehouse management solutions based on SAP.
In this role, you will work together with a team of warehouse consultants, mainly using your experience and skillset to provide design, creation, development and optimization of warehouse management processes for Warehouse Management solutions.
• Working in an agile DevOps environment, keeping strong communication with the team.
• Enable and support our internal business partners to achieve BASF business goals through providing best-in-class IT and digitalization solutions.
• Defines the solution and technical design based on business requirements.
• Contributes to project planning, cost estimations.
• Preparing and conducting user trainings.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and show team player attitude.
• Have the willingness to develop new professional skills.
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a developer in SAP • Ideally extensive knowledge of logistics processes.
• ABAP / ABAP OO.
• Experiences in working in global / virtual teams / projects.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.
• Experience with at least one of the following topics CDS Views, SAP S/4HANA output management, Git via gCTS, Odata V4 support, RAP (ABAP Restful Programming Model), Fiori Launchpad (Spaces, Pages, Notifications).
• Good English skills.
• Understand and be able to independently customize IM / LE / WM specific processes and know the integration points with other SAP Modules (MM, SD, FI, CO, TM, PP etc.).
• Knowledge of application lifecycle, change/release management process.
• Experience in running IT solutions as products.
• Knowledge of Jira / MS Azure DevOps.
• Experience with test automation.
• Azure platform.
