Job Description :An opportunity for a Supply Chain Quality Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). Brief description of the department’s mission : The selected candidate will join the T1POA2 Supply Chain & Quality team. The organization is in charge of the control and monitoring of the operational performance and surveillance of suppliers in the Air Power Business Line scope. The team is transnational and based in different locations across Europe. The Jobholder will join the Dynamics Systems team to manage suppliers delivering parts in the Power Plant scope (i. e. engine & propeller) for the Sirtap program. RESPONSIBILITIESThe jobholder will be responsible for :1. Manage the supplier quality approval and ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders2. Manage / contribute to supply chain & quality aspects of the contract being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and On Cost when applicable) performance3. Monitor or support new product introduction, Transfer of Works, changes, to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase4. Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects5. Report on supplier operational performance. Work out short-term recovery plans6. Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions. Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier developmentSKILLSIs your profile aligned to the following list of skills? Apply! We are looking forward to know you :Education : Engineering degree or a related discipline. Experience : At least 5 years in Procurement and / or Quality and / or Engineering. Soft skills : High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Languages : Advanced level in English. Technical knowledge : SAP, Google Suite, Microsoft Office. Valuable / Nice to have : Experience auditing / assessing requirements for suppliers and managing APQP projects will be valued.
