#About the role
We are looking for a Lead Teacher and Subject Matter Expert for our Salesforce
Bootcamp who is passionate about coding, but also passionate about sharing their
knowledge with the next generation of developers. The Lead Teacher is someone
who has a deep understanding of programming and good development practices
gathered from their educational journey and real-world experience.
What you will teach
- Introduction to Salesforce and its ecosystem.
- Standard platform configuration, including data model, object relationships,
and UI customization.
- Developer fundamentals, covering Salesforce architecture, process
automation tools, and when to use them.
- Declarative customizations using Salesforce's automation tools.
- Apex development, including syntax, data manipulation, triggers,
asynchronous Apex, REST services, and best practices.
- UI development with an emphasis on Lightning Web Components
- Metadata versioning and deployment strategies, including the use of
Salesforce DX, CLI tools, and CI/CD implementation with Azure Devops or
similar.
#Responsibilities
- Overseeing the whole academic experience of an Ironhack bootcamp (from
day one to graduation) - Creating engaging content for our Salesforce courses that may include
lessons, exercises and/or mini-projects
- Managing Teaching Assistants
#Must have
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including users, objects, fields,
layouts, and sharing settings.
- Proficiency in declarative automation tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder,
Workflow Rules, Approval Processes).
- Strong knowledge in Apex programming, SOQL/SOSL queries, and DML
operations.
- Familiarity with UI development frameworks (Lightning Web Components/LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce)
- Understanding of metadata versioning, deployment practices, Salesforce DX,
CLI tools, and CI/CD principles.
- Fluent in English .
- Passion for education : although we donʼt require previous formal teaching
experience, weʼre looking for people that enjoy teaching/mentoring others and
that are involved in the coding community.
Experience managing and keeping a team motivated.
Can-do attitude and a good sense of humor.
Great communication skills, can you be engaging as a teacher?
Please be aware that this position is fully remote but working hours are Atlantic Standard Time.
