Revenue Management Expert
Roles & Responsabilidades:
- Developing, proposing, and implementing innovative pricing strategies for various markets and channels to optimize revenue, visitors, and unit revenue.
- Execution of the revenue management (RM) strategy to achieve business objectives in the region. Attend weekly revenue meetings with key Marketing Directors to review strategies and contribute to the decision-making and allocation of resources, systems, and tools.
- Make daily decisions to optimize turnover through pricing and rate management. Assist in implementing the recommendations across all channels and ensure the systems are updated accordingly.
- Defining the promotional strategy to maximize attendance and revenue and help ensure its correct implementation.
- Conduct competitive and demand analyses, providing critical conclusions on chosen strategies, attendance statistics, and general demand factors. Support the pricing analysis and reporting for top management.
- Maintaining an accurate and dynamic forecast for future dates based on RM system recommendations, and participate in the daily monitoring of data such as competitors, booking pace, pick-up, demand calendar, events, etc.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Growth Media, e-Commerce, CEX, CRM, and Annual Pass, to ensure compliance with the group strategy.
- Contribute to the development of innovative methods and tools for reviewing, analyzing, forecasting, and presenting pricing information and goal achievement.
- Lead internal pricing department and contributes to cross-functional projects, including process improvement, technology development, marketing communications, etc.
- Adapting pricing strategies quickly based on the current environment and economic conditions.
Requirements:
Education:
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a related field.
Languages:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, effective communication skills, both written and speaking.
- Any other European language is a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Statistical software such as Stata or R (is a plus)
- Power BI (is a plus)
Experience:
- At least 4 or 5 years previous experience in pricing and/or revenue management, or related fields.
- Previous experience in market research techniques and data collection methods.
- Experienced in the theme park or hospitality industry, is a plus but not mandatory.
Others:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks
