In order to achieve these goal, PagoNxt is organized in three different business:
Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers .
Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs .
Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals .
This role will be part of our PagoNxt Merchant Solutions team and will be responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform and consolidate Santander as an acquiring world leader.

As a Capital Allocation Manager , you will lead finance capital allocation internal and external process thought the actual demand management process making sure the return over projects are captured as approval process required and potencial M&A activities. Also you will be responsible for reporting main findings to Santander Group into Alexandria tool and the main finance reports required by the oversight needed from Santander. Going more granular, you will work on different fronts:
- Ad hoc finance transformation activity such as Planning Tool, Information Management Systems, integration within Global Platform using top-notch technology such as Spark, Python, etc…
- FP&A of PagoNxt Merchant Global Business including the design and maintenance of financial systems to promote accountability and business insights. Valuable data visualization, bringing new insights for management actions, process optimizations and forecasting base on predictive learning applications. Project oriented view is needed to develop these insights.
- Center of Expertise (COE) Finance to serve the Squads/Dominios in terms of capital allocation and Business Cases.
- Oversight Business Plans for VAS and core capabilities in the platform and developing strategic long term and what-if scenario models based on the business needs. Translate the impact from complex transactions, products and VAS into financial.
- Project management and coordination with different Stakeholders.

- PagoNxt Merchant: CEO, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Business Development, Product & Business Support, COO
- PagoNxt Merchant subsidiaries: PagoNxt Merchant subsidiaries CEOs and CFO´s
- PagoNxt Holco: financial controller, Governance & Planning and Risk
- Other Santander units: Cost, Finance, Management Control, Corporate Development,
- External stakeholders: audit, business support, external consultancy,etc..
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required
- Bachelor´s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance. MBA desirable
- 10+ years of consultancy focus on finance transformation projects, capital allocation for tech companies, data visualization, Business Plan, Pricing.
- Lead and manage cross functional and cross boarder transactional projects .
- Finance Business partner oriented and Data driven professional who is passionate about digital transformation and payments with result –driven focus.
- Creative problem solver analytical and financial perspective.
- Ability to effectively work with global and local teams in a collaborative, multicultural and cross-functional environment.
- Identifying best practices and help countries ´connect the dots´ to learn from one another
- Communicate clearly, adapting style to audiences ranging from engineering teams, control functions, business areas and senior leaders.
- Ability to effectively, and independently, manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail.
- Language skills - proficient in English.
Desired
- Exposure to fintech environments.
- Master’s degree (Business Administration or Finance)
- Agile Methodology, Lean Start –up and Scrum experience is desired
