Job description

Description

Joining Busuu means being part of one of the top EdTech companies in the world, a multiple award-winner recognised for its innovation and impact in language learning.

Busuu’s vision is to empower people through languages. We are the world’s largest online community for language learning, with 120+ million registered users.

We make learning a language easy by combining AI-powered courses with feedback from our global community of native speakers and lesson content designed for real life.

Busuu is part of the global Chegg family. Chegg is the leading student-first connected learning platform and a NYSE listed company.

What should you know about the B2B tribe?

The B2B Tribe is made of 3 squads serving 2 types of personas :

The Learning & Development Managers (L&DMs). They need to monitor & communicate their impact in their company. They want to be sure that the learning initiatives they promoted are actually improving employees' performance.

They are our economic buyers but also end-users of our management platform.

The Learners / Employees. They want, need or have to make language progress, and they need a learning journey that suits their goals & constraints (e.

g. tight schedule, specific courses, etc.). They are our end-users of our self-paced and Live classes products.

Historically we’ve been focusing mostly on L&DMs, and a bit on the Learners implementing some core product evolutions for Live classes.

Because we believe one of our best growth drivers is having products that engage a high percentage of Learners, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager able to define and lead our B2B usage (activation & habits) and monetization (first sell + upsell) strategies.

What is expected from your role?

We are looking for someone with a lot of seniority, a strong background in growth (acquisition, engagement & monetization), and experience in the B2B environment (collaborating with sales, implementing product-led sales initiatives, etc.).

You have the right amount of experience and seniority to be a mentor and coach for other PMs, paving the way for professional growth in your career in Product Management.

As a growth expert, you are deeply user-centric and business-oriented. You put the balance between user-value & business impact in the centre of your decision making.

You are able to create compelling business cases and present them to the leadership and the team.

You are data-driven. You master the growth & business metrics language, you are comfortable self-serving data when needed, and you can spot opportunities in data to establish potential paths to success.

You are able to identify new problems & opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis of customers & market research.

You are the sales & the product marketing teams partner in crime. You are able to collaborate closely with them to leverage their strengths & knowledge, and to implement lean tests / pilots with our clients.

You are also able to bring them your product mentality and manage expectations. In the end, you should know the business better than the Business team.

You love to move fast and leverage industry best practices to validate your hypotheses are Valuable, Feasible, and Viable.

You know how to empower your squad (designer, engineers, and data) to develop the best solutions in the most efficient manner.

You care a lot about people and collaboration, ensuring your squad is happy, healthy and contributes to the team's success.

You are open to challenge, and in turn challenging your team & stakeholders; we grow together. You enjoy learning and sharing your learnings with others to help them improve.

You are capable of managing a multitude of stakeholders and competing interests. Adept at building consensus while always advocating for the final user.

You will drive the development and execution of the B2B growth product roadmap, and regularly communicate it to your stakeholders and to the leadership team.

Most probably you are not a superhuman checking all the boxes above but you are excited about the idea of eventually doing it : )

At Busuu we want to ensure that you have access to some great benefits :

Our centrally located offices are well-equipped with free breakfast, plenty of snacks, fresh fruit, and free dinner of your choice if you need to stay late

Busuu offers a great Private Health Insurance scheme

There is a personal training budget just for you, so you can learn more in your field to ensure our employees can continuously grow and progress in their careers

We like to support our teams with their work-life balance so we offer flexible working hours and a hybrid model of working

We offer enhanced maternity and paternity leave

Staying connected as a team is very important to us, so we have lots of social activities for you to join such as team lunches, Friday socials, quarterly team, and company events
