We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our LOC Engineering, Games-Tech Team. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of tools, or the in-game technology to allow the localization and internationalization of games to 20 languages or more.
Your primary focus will be code quality, performance, extensibility, and testability. You will be working with engineers, product owners and stakeholders to develop tools or in-game code packages, translating requirements and prototypes into technical solutions using C++, C# or others.
You will also help maintaining or refactoring legacy code, work on bug-fixing of tools or games, help improving our technology base and documentation, and mentor more junior members of the team.
You will be a part of the Loc Engineering, Games-Tech Team and report to its Technical Director.
We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.
