Requisitos mínimos
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in capacity of Assistant Finance Manager.

- To possess confidence and communication skills to work with senior management and all staff, Team player, Initiative, Attention to details, good knowledge business administration, good Analytical skills, strong negotiation skills, organisation and time management skills.
Descripción
To help in maintain and improve the profitability of the company through strict revenue and cost controls procedures. Prepare weekly forecasts, review EOM journals, reports to meet required deadlines, and reconciliations of balance accounts. To assist and carry out designated duties as per the Finance Director and cover his/her absence.
- Supervision and management of accounts staff to ensure that the functions of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and purchasing are accurately and efficiently operated.
- Ensure all accounts receivable are collected and reconciled on a timely basis.
- Conduct periodic audits of departments.
- Responsible for supervising that staff carry out the filling and storage of all documents correctly.
- Monitor and analyse operating profitability of the hotel and make recommendations as required.
- Ensure that insurance is maintained and current.
- Ensure contracts are reviewed and monitored regularly.
- Attend operational briefing meetings in absence of Director of Finance.
- Prepare weekly forecasts in Jumeirah international format in accordance with reporting deadlines.
- Review month end balance sheet reconciliations and follow up all reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Review the ageing of accounts receivable and assist in collection if necessary.
- Review and assist the stores and purchasing department's goals, cost controlling, and objectives.
- Maintenance of accounting records and systems in accordance with Jumeirah international policies and procedures.
- To prepare daily food and beverage potential cost report.
- To prepare month-end cost audit report, this includes reconciliation of all stock rooms.
- Assist in preparation of annual Budget and monitor and report on progress, including action plans required to meet budget.
