International Program Manager
Responsible for collating a global portfolio of initiatives across all of Zurich software delivery centers (ZCCs) and managing the Operational projects of of the Operations team in Barcelona.
The candidate will monitor progress, identify dependencies and synergies, help teams to adopt best practices and reuse. Owns the consolidated plan on behalf of the Head of ZCCs.
The role supports Global Technology & Operations and stakeholder reporting as well as business case initiative creation and initiative prioritization process.
Your Role
As an International Program Manager your main responsibilities will involve :
- Ensure that All ZCCs projects are well designed and planned. Also, that they are executed across HR, Finance and Operations in alignment with the ZCCs Strategy
- Help teams to build the business cases and strategies of the ZCCs development and evangelize the vision and product-led planning through governance and alignment.
- Ensure that the initiatives within the centres are value led, have clear baselines, timelines, KPIs, managed dependencies and risks, and measured outcomes that can be translated into a tangible Business Benefit.
- Support Head of center’s EA to co-ordinate all governance and operational aspects of meetings / calls e.g. management of agenda topics, briefings, and follow up actions coming out of them.
- Manage Senior Leader’s incoming information requests proactively. Prioritizing recommended actions and providing briefings and analysis for consideration.
- Assist in valuation / measurements of key projects to ensure projects are delivered according to plan (schedule and within budget).
- Identify and collate possible issues / opportunities and assist in developing / scoping solutions for these opportunities to support the achievement of strategic and operational business objectives.
Your Skills and Experience
As an International Program Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include :
- Experience in Managing portfolios of programmes with more than 70 local projects across 5 or more international locations.
- Experience In designing, agreeing and deploying a value-based prioritization process across programmes within the entire portfolio, with an specific focus on cost reduction.
- Experience in Project Management KPIs, identifying and managing ternal and internal, dependencies; avoiding duplication and enhancing re-use.
- Experience in working with Senior Executives from EMEA and Latam
- High Level Influencer Internally Focused.
- Strong proven track in Stakeholder and Relationship Management
- Experience and sensitivity to global working environments and cross culture teams
- Demonstrated, practical experience in Portfolio management and Knowledge in, project management (PMBook, Prince 2, etc.
programme planning and project finances control, and
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
