Job description

We are looking for a ” Senior Database System Engineer ” who will offer service to a multinational pharmaceutical company.

SKILLS :

• +2 years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
• Expertise with common database technologies (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
• Demonstrated experience with ITIL processes (Change/Problem/Incident management)
• Automation experience with  Powershell 
• Several years of professional experience in an international IT environment
• Prior experience in designing, planning and implementing database solutions

Nice to have:

• Ansible
• VMware Docker Container
• Kubernetes
• Experience with agile project methodologies (Scrum) or similar work structure methods like Kanban.

TASKS :

• Responsible for planning, definition, technical architecture, implementation, qualification, operational concept and handover to operational support units
• Design according to the defined processes of distributed systems and software of medium or high complexity of own organizational units
• Responsible for maintenance, optimization, continuous improvement and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned solutions
• Support organizational goals by participating in or leading project teams

SCHEDULE :

• 08h-17h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
• Nowadays: 4 days by remote | 1 day on-site.
