Collaborate with game teams and partner teams to ensure new features will help them excel in their workProvide hands-on senior-level technical direction for the team and provide direction by defining high-value, measurable goalsHelp the team define and maintain engineering standards and processes, including but not limited to coding guidelines, testing and release proceduresCoordinate the support rotation and ensure customers receive help within our established SLAsGrow and mentor the team, earn their trust, advance their skills and their careersWork with team members and peers in both Central European and North American time zones. Desired Skills and Experience3+ years experience as a people manager, leading an engineering groupExcellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical usersAbility to work in a team environment with maturity and leadershipAbility to navigate complex scenarios with customers through the use of tact, conflict resolution, and bargaining skillsAbility to lead under ambiguity, balancing multiple work-streams and prioritiesPreferred SkillsProficiency with Web Development and its underlying Infrastructure: Frontend Development (React preferred), Backend Technology (Python/Go preferred), and Tools Development, Cloud (AWS)Experience running a team who works on projects and supports live services and products simultaneouslyWhat's in it for you as a Socialpointer?
