AVL is a leading global company with 75 years of commitment in the development of powertrain systems with over 11,200 employees worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Function validation Engineer to join our team in Barcelona.
- Carry out validation of Engine and Gearbox SW functions during all phases of the project
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve bottle necks and communicate with all stakeholders
- Managing project documentation
- Analyze Engine and Gearbox related incidences and propose countermeasure direction for concerns
- Make technical reports and presentations
- A degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a high degree
of Experience in automotive Software functions (2+ years is a plus)
- Strong interest in planning and management-related activities
- Proactivity, commitment, and sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work in cross-functional team covering Powertrain areas: ICE, HEV and BEV
- Good level of English
- Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory
- Experience in automotive diagnosis and CAN monitoring
- Vector CANanalyzer and ODIS desirable
