Technical Solution Lead XVA - SCIB

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Technical Solution Lead in XVA , you will be work closely within the CVA Product Team and XVA Quants Team

Your objective will be to manage the technical developments that support XVA's calculation and provisioning engines (CVA, DVA, FVA), for the calculation of metrics, ensuring consistency and accuracy of valuations, as well as involvement in regulatory projects related to Regulatory Capital.

You will proceed with the development, certification and productive release.

You will need to take decisions regarding the evolution of the technical solution (involving hardware and software) taking into account business needs, IT requirements and model evolution.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Coordinate Teams and organization on how to work in best practices and values to fit the client needs.
• Providing all support to the teams with criteria and determination.
• Identify training, upskilling or re-profiling needs required to maintain technical competences
• Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team. 
• GAP analysis from users and definition to developers.
• Manage multiple projects and requests concurrently, each in diverse phases and with its own actors and technologies, being able to successfully keep up with their requirements and deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

• +10 years of experience in IT field.
• +5 years of experience in Markets.

EDUCATION

• IT/STEM Degree or Master.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Competence and proven experience of +5 years in:
  • CIB Markets area projects.
  • Financial products: FI+FX, Equity.
  • Trading Desk & Risk metrics: ideally knowledge in CVA, DVA, FVA.

• Advanced technical knowledge in:
  • C++ and Java – knowledge in Python will also be valued.
  • high performance computing: grid/cloud systems and distributed caches.
  • interfaces, microservices and rest APIs.
  • Data Base Management, Orchestration: MongoDB, Kafka, Tibco, Oracle.

• Software development frameworks:
  • agile environments: Scrum, Kanban; and tools: Jira, Confluence.
  • Code Management tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar.
