Job description

It's an exciting time to be part of IFF! We are looking for an Accountant with temporary contract to join our team.

IFF creates, develops, manufactures and markets an extensive variety of high quality flavors and fine ingredients for customers in the food, beverage, functional food, flavor, fragrance, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. Scope & Key Responsibilities

Accounting activities for the legal entities in France

• • Work with Service Center team to prepare the month end, quarter end and year end closing following financial standards and procedures.
  • Monthly preparation of intercompany recharges
  • Monthly Balance Sheet review and approval of reconciliations prepared by Budapest team
  • Complete local tax filing & declaration, (VAT and other local taxes) to ensure local tax compliance. Support answering requirements received from the tax agency
  • Support in the preparation of monthly reporting’s
  • Support controller in the Internal Audits, External Audits and various government inspection (VAT, Corporate Income tax, Social Sec., Employee tax, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Degree in Economics or business Administration.
• Fluent in Spanish & English
• Good organizational skills
• Technical Competencies:
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Basic knowledge on Spanish VAT
  • Be proficient in MS Excel (advanced)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
