GRADUATE PROGRAM


If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of manufacturing solutions, this is what you are looking for!

During 15 intense and exciting months, we will give you an holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations. You will be part of the transformation in our industry, working with new technologies and building the competencies for tomorrow.
In parallel, you will improve your interpersonal skills through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and a mentor to support you. You will have some “on-the-job” rotations and experiences working on real project assignments. In addition, you will join several modules with other program participants for participating to trainings and events designed to help you to grow into your future career.

How you will make an impact
We are a team that is looking continuously to improve our way of working and capabilities. We want to reach efficiency while meeting customer requirements. We are looking for fresh eyes for our current way of performing tests and verifications. As Diagnostic Engineer you will be responsible for building a common strategy for securing quality and covering all the end-to-end needs. Your responsibility will be to drive and develop a new hardware platform for testing and supporting the development of electronic tests called operations.

Required knowledge/experience
• Master in Engineering (automation, electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent)
• Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
• Electronic development (Hardware or software components) experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge in AGILE methodology
• Knowledge in industry 4.0
• Holistic view and good lean knowledge 
• Fluent in speaking and writing English and French 
• Valid work permit for the applied country if not a citizen
