With a presence in 38 countries across three continents and over 13, 000 employees, our mission is to contribute to society through the continuous development of superior rail transport solutions. **Accountabilities**In coherence with the OS&M; Global Quality Control strategy, ensures the implementation of the Quality Control Operating Model in the specific project operational sites with a mid and long term perspective in order to guarantee the deployment of following activities:- Site Non Conformity management- S&M; activities continuous inspection through standardized “In Process Checks” plans (Maintenance Compliance, Product Configuration, Documentation compliance etc. )- Special Processes Quality Control at the operational site- Spare Parts Incoming Quality Inspection- Suppliers External Providers surveillance (“in process checks”, Process Control Plan approvals, supplier NCR resolution guidance, FAI activities etc. )- Ensures the monitoring of Site Quality Control operating model implementation progresses and achievements reporting about any possible deviations Constraints. - Ensures the monitoring of the site OS&M; Quality Control KPIs dashboard in consistency with Quality Control Operating Model. - Ensures the local daily implementation and enforcement of group standards, processes and tools. - Ensures the capitalization and sharing of local Quality Control best practices, tools and methodologies. - Ensures the exhaustive and timely Site OS&M; Quality Control data reporting. - Ensures a proper Quality Control organizational structure on the site in consistency with Quality Control Strategy & Operating Model and assigned budget allowance. - Ensures the local Quality Control team coordination. - Ensures the local development of competencies, skills and knowledge of resources in alignment with Local HR strategy, guidelines and policies. - Ensures the local implementation of the Global Hitachi Rail Group culture and the development of behaviours/competences in line with the Hitachi values and a collaborative approach. - Ensures the definition and implementation of the competence development plans and the capitalization of know-how/best practices. **Required Skills/ Knowledge**- Significant experience on railway/ mass transit service and maintenance projects, preferably in quality roles; - Ability to analyze maintenance contract specifications; - Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical drawings; - Ability in drafting procedures and technical documents for quality control activities; - Expert about Office package, advanced skill in Excel Powerpoint over all;**Education / Qualifications**Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/Associate Degree or equivalent technical background. **Languages**Good English proficiencyIt is our commitment at Hitachi Rail to create a diverse environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
