Job Description:

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will lead the technology strategy and drive the development of scalable, high-performance systems to support ecommerce operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology infrastructure, including software development, IT operations, cybersecurity, and data management. Your visionary leadership and technical expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the technological roadmap and ensuring a competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, developers, and IT professionals to deliver innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure ecommerce platforms and systems.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of our technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to drive the development and deployment of new features and functionalities.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our business.
• Establish and maintain effective IT governance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Lead efforts to enhance cybersecurity measures and protect our systems and data against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and maximize value.
• Communicate technology strategies, initiatives, and progress to executive leadership, stakeholders, and the broader organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing technology strategy and operations, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
• Demonstrated track record of driving technology innovation and delivering successful ecommerce solutions at scale.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
• Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with cybersecurity practices, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future technology trends and translate them into actionable plans.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth through technology innovation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
