In our offshore engineering department, we have a team of development, process, and safety engineers responsible for the improvement of designs and construction process information.

This team currently supports the development of offshore wind farm projects - we strive for continuous improvement and transition to digitalization. This role is to support the development/update of new work instructions alongside process engineers, manage and update baseline information to allow for project specific information to be included easily.

How to contribute to our vision

As a Technical Writer you will directly support project process engineers and work with a team of other development engineers to develop the standards. It is an agile working environment, where attention to detail is vital and a structured mind-set capable of not letting commitments slip is important.

Your responsibility will include, but not be limited to:

Work with engineers on development/execution projects to develop/update the standard processes for installation of new wind turbines

Manage and maintain a database of 'standard' I baseline information which can be used as the reference point for projects to make specific

Coordinate documentation tasks on projects

Create/update work instructions and checklists based on project’s needs.

Ensure document quality through review processes in line with our internal management system and quality management processes

Create safe user friendly and easy to follow documents

Record improvement potential and contribute to the planned incremental continuous improvement of our processes & templates
