Job description
The clinical consultant position we are seeking is required to develop timely and quality inputs to payors and providers customers from a clinical background.
Expected assignments range from requirements gathering to reporting solutions design, including relevant KPIs calculation.
His/her clinical background is expected to help understand clinical customer analytics needs in the clinical arena for various conditions. This is particularly necessary all along the healthcare partnerships offering, where we help clinical teams from different hospitals to define condition specific KPIs that are ultimately measured with their hospital own data. Also, its background is needed to interpret clinical outcomes data and present such outcomes to the clinicians within the projects.
May serve as project leader for small teams or work streams. Amongst key responsibilities, he/she will need to deal with the following:
• Helps in the process of reviewing client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals and client solutions, always from clinical point of view.
• Understands the clinical landscape of conditions and is able to connect such a landscape with relevant KPIs from the process / outcomes perspective
• Analytical mindset that ensures that those KPIs are possible to given existing information at the hospital side
• Is capable of defining detailed specs for KPI calculation, understanding the basics of epidemiology, including methods and associated biases
• Ensures professional clinical communication skills to deal with critical stakeholders (medical directors or clinicians at hospitals)
• Is able to autonomously design/structure and execute presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
• Develops, and may present, complete client deliverables within known/identified frameworks and methodologies with little guidance
• Engagement based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals
