For our Sanish legal entity we are currently looking for a Product Manager based in Madrid covering both Spain and Portugal
Job Description
Job’s mission
Responsible for the key products management both in Spain and Portugal, in coordination with the relevant key local stakeholders. This role will ensure the effective development of local brand strategies in line with the EMEA regional strategies and the implementation of local brand tactics, cross-functionally leading the development of comprehensive brand plans aimed at maximizing the value of the company portfolio.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead the development of the cross-functional Brand Plan for the assigned brand(s) at regional and local level to ensure strong alignment around the brand strategy and execution of the strategy
- Strategic planning to ensure the sales and profitability of the portfolio, analyzing business developments and monitoring market and customer trends
- Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, scientific societies and other healthcare organizations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored Develop the marketing tactical plans outlining key activities and programs that address agreed critical success factors/strategic imperatives for the assigned brand(s), and execute within agreed timelines and budgets
- Related congress management
- Maintain full accountability for brand performance, financial forecasts, budgets and supply.
- Deliver the annual forecast
- ldentify and leverage stakeholder insights to drive differentiation and growth for assigned brand(s)
- Evaluate research, market conditions, competitor data and implement Brand Plan changes as needed
- Maximize brand performance and profitability while controlling promotional expenses
- Work effectively and collaboratively with EMEA marketing, medical market access, etc., and other cross functional teams
- Work from Madrid office 2 days per week
Qualifications
EDUCAT ION
- University degree or equivalent in lite sciences and/or business administration
- Understanding of IT solutions used in marketing/sales
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in prescription pharma and/or OTC products
- management, including customer facing/sales experience.
- Experience of launching new products
- Experience in digital marketing & the use of alternative channels
- Excellent knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese market and compliance regulations
- Experience in ophthalmology desirable
- Experience in a start-up company (desired)

- Strategy and translate it into actionable tactical plans

- Ability to develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on them
- Track record of influence and persuasion, to achieve business objectives through marketing campaigns
- Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and in a regional
- environment (with region & other countries).
- Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong command of English and Spanish (written and oral)
- Ability to operate in a flexible and changing environment
- 25% travel
- Command of Portuguese is a plus
