The Digital Workplace team is seeking a new team member!You will be responsible for building and enabling the foundation layer for dashboards and self-service reporting through Power BI within Swiss Re's Microsoft 365 tenant (or other data visualisation tools). You will work closely in a multi-functional team to shape the platform that fulfils our business and product vision and ultimately bring value by enabling self-service low-code / no-code features and capabilities for our citizen developers. In your role you will:Design, build, integrate, monitor, and handle Power BI environments and premium capacities in accordance with best practices and legal and regulatory requirements. Handle Power BI tenant and capacity settings, workspaces, datasets and refreshes, data integration, etc. Ensure appropriate security measures are in place to secure company data in Power BI. This includes setting up access controls, creating data security policies, and implementing encryption. Manage data gateways and connections. Setting up and upgrading of gateways, creation of connections, monitoring gateway performance, and resolving gateway related issues. Partner with business and technical decision makers to understand requirements and present a shared technical and architectural vision to maximise the benefit of Power BI and the Power Platform as a whole. We achieve this through:Developing and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of standard end to end digital workplace products and services needed to support productivity, collaboration and communication (e. g. Microsoft 365, Windows 10). Local office workplace hardware lifecycle management, support, and provisioning. Supporting local or regional office and individual business unit requirements in the area of footprint changes, legal and compliance requests, BCM and ITSCM events. Standardizing our portfolio catalogue of services and end user technology products, helping to provide greater transparency and efficiency, enabling every employee to be educated and supported equally regardless of their respective location. Using our global, regional and local vendors, suppliers and service provider relationships to balance value for money and high-end technical solutions. About youWe are happy to meet you if you possess:Previous hands-on experience in deploying and managing Power BI Premium in an environment with a large number of users, including managing users, apps, workspaces, and data gateways. A solid understanding of Power BI security capabilities (access control, data row-level security, use of roles to control sharing, publishing, data export). Proven hands-on experience in deploying and managing Power BI Premium in an environment with a large number of users. Experience with data modeling, data integration, data visualisation, and ETL processes. Experience working in agile (Scrum) environment a plus.
