  Who you are?

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Presales Engineer to join our Professional Services team.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of sales, business development expertise, and technical knowledge in the field of climate-related projects and services. As a Presales Engineer expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by effectively communicating and implementing the value proposition of our climate change solutions to prospective clients and partners.

What will you do?

 

As a Presales Engineer at Mitiga Solutions, you’ll:

 

· Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored proposals for climate change projects and services.

· Conduct thorough research on client organizations, industries, and market trends to identify potential opportunities for engagement.

· Engage with prospective clients through presentations, workshops, and consultations to articulate the benefits of our climate change solutions.

· Demonstrate a deep understanding of our portfolio of services and projects, including their technical aspects, environmental impacts, and financial implications.

· Work closely with technical experts and project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, cost estimates, and timelines for prospective clients.

· Provide strategic guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

· Act as a subject matter expert on climate change issues, regulations, and industry best practices during client interactions and internal discussions.

· Continuously monitor market developments and competitor activities to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product/service innovation.

Requirements

We seek an exceptional Presales Engineer who possesses:

 

· Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, computer science, business administration. Advanced degree preferred.

· 5+ years track record of success in presales, or business development roles, preferably within the environmental consulting, climate change services industry or Aviation.

· Strong technical knowledge of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, renewable energy systems, sustainable transportation solutions, pure technical systems, cloud & engineering and/or other relevant domains.

· Experience working with engineering teams and a strong technical understanding / background

· Practical knowledge of SaaS ecosystems (we are Azure, but any cloud env will do)

· Passionate about data, analytics, machine learning and automation. 

· Willingness to travel when required.

· Proficiency in English is a must.

· Ability to take ownership of and work independently to manage projects through to completion. 

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
