What impact you will have
As an Agile Project Manager experienced Scrum Master adept at driving Agile methodologies and nurturing synergistic collaboration within diverse, cross-functional teams. The role entails overseeing the development of two hardware products alongside a software team, ensuring seamless integration across both domains. Proficient in identifying and resolving impediments, the Scrum Master is instrumental in streamlining processes to enhance project delivery efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) ensuring active participation and adherence to the Scrum process.
- Practice servant leadership by empowering and supporting the Scrum Team to self-organize and achieve their goals while shielding them from external distractions and impediments.
- Identify and remove blockers hindering the team's progress, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve organizational issues impacting the team.
- Coach team members and the organization on agile principles and Scrum practices, promoting collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other Scrum roles.
- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Facilitate regular retrospectives to reflect on processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing new practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Assist the team in establishing and monitoring relevant metrics to track performance and progress, providing insights through metrics such as burndown charts and velocity.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations, acting as the main point of contact between the project team and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and status updates, and generate regular progress reports for stakeholders and leadership.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Project Management, or a related field such as Engineering (master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in HW product development (minum 5 years).
- Proficiency in Jira.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Native English is required, and good working knowledge of Spanish is preferred (other languages are a plus).
- Proactive self-starter with clear internal and external communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
