Project Finance ManagerFinance and AdministrationMadrid (Spain) Ref: MD3084 January 16, 2024 ENERGY, WATER AND GAS FUNCTIONS As a Project Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in the acquisition and financing of Renewable energy projects. Leveraging your extensive knowledge of project finance, tax equity, and debt, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability and success of the company's renewable energy ventures. This role requires a seasoned finance professional capable of overseeing commercial due diligence, negotiating financing solutions, and managing debt. Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy:● Develop and execute financial strategies for projects in development, construction, and operationFinancing Management:● Handle a diverse range of complex financing structures● Negotiate and structure financing solutions● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal financial terms● Oversee daily decisions on fund allocation and ensure compliance with financialcovenants and information undertakingsFinancial Analysis:● Conduct in-depth financial analysis, assess financial risks, and propose strategies to mitigate them● Establish and maintain high standards for commercial due diligence to ensure project bankability● Covenant Management and Reporting● Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and manage Long-Term Agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance. Coordinate with legal counsels to address contractual matters and ensure legal complianceCash Flow Management:● Supervise the company's cash flow, making strategic decisions on resource allocation as well as ensuring adequate liquidity● Develop and implement strategies for effective cash flow management, optimizing liquidity● Ensure healthy debt ratios and compliance as well as enabling maximum return to shareholdersBudgets and Projections:● Develop and maintain robust financial budgets and long-term financial projectionsInvestor Relations:● Maintain effective relationships with investors and financial partnersRegulatory Compliance:● Ensure the financial structure and transactions comply with relevant regulatory and normative requirementsQualifications and Experience:● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred● +10 years of proven experience in project finance managing complex financing, including junior and senior debt, across multiple countries, preferably in renewable energy projects● In-depth knowledge of financial covenants, complex financial structures, and risk analysis● In-depth knowledge debt financing and financial modeling● Strong negotiation and communication skills● Familiarity with Southern European financial markets and regulations● Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment● Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment● Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English is a mustBenefits:● Competitive salary package, including variable● 100% remote work● Medical insurance and life insurance● Holidays (25 working days) Apply nowLooking for the best qualified professionals?
