Job description
We are looking for a new talent to join our team in Cordoba (Spain) for our Business Unit Hitachi Energy - Transformers.
Drive and participate in a continuous improvement culture focused on waste elimination across the organization using ITM (Integrated Transformer Management) lean methods, processes and tools, such as 5S, Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance, etc. Special focus in the drying, vacuum, oil filling, and particle filtration processes, t he Autoclave facilities, transfer of fluids and critical equipment in the Drying Area and lead specific training in your assigned area.
Analyze manufacturing process flows and related data in an effort to continuously enhance safety, quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
Monitor and validate drying and oil filling process records.
Monitor/improve preventive maintenance plans for assigned equipment.
Ensure safety systems at assigned facilities function as intended.
Participate in all design reviews, to transmit to Production all requirements defined by the client for all projects
Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
Plan, conduct or coordinate engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review Plan, submit, track and implement Cap Ex projects.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment ( i.e. ATEX equipments and/or e xperience with P&ID diagrams and safety and operational control systems for continuous process equipment)
Experience in heat and material transfer processes, fluid transfer and storage, gas and biomass boilers and their auxiliary installations, vacuum processes and dew point systems.
Used to working in highly unionized environments.
Fluent in Spanish and English (B2 certificate minimum).
Computer experience in Windows, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD
Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts
Self-motivated/Self-driven, enthusiastic, cooperative, positive behavior, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to train individuals as well as lead.
