Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics.

As a Platform Application R&D Manager in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.

Your responsibilities :

Organize and manage Platform Application activities

Team and resources organization

MTP and budget preparation

Organize and manage platform Application quotation

Estimate Application R&D effort for Customer Application RFQs

Minimize the Specific part and maximize the standard Platforms reuse the

Is responsible to and optimize the Application Development cost

Organize and manage platform Application Execution

Ensure seamless execution in alignment with Valeo PD process

Supervise execution in alignment with Headlamp planning

Manage budget execution, including change management

Accountable to stick to the budget estimated

Accountable to the product cost, quality and delivery plan

Organize Application R&D governance

Guarantee the discipline in following Valeo standards and methodologies : Advanced Development Policy,

P1 efficiency and risk management thanks to reuse, RAISE, etc

Monitor Customer Application Projects (P1s) application cost and competitiveness

Organize and support platform Application launch

Support production start

Support product maintenance and cost reduction roadmaps

Desired skills and experience :

• More than 10 years of experience, with multi-skills capability (Product Development, Industrial, Purchasing)
• Experience as Project Director for Electronic projects.
• R&D management
• Budget management
• Architecture of products covered by the platform, and technologies involved.
• Customer Relationship Management and Business Development
• Problem Solving
• Mobilizing teams
• International Mindset
