Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and ready to lead a groundbreaking European initiative? Airpelago, a pioneering software company specializing in automation software for power line inspections using drones, is expanding its horizons and looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic individual to join us as Country Manager for one of the following European regions: DACH, Spain, France, Poland, or the UK. The Country Manager will be based in the chosen country.

Airpelago has developed cutting-edge automation software that revolutionizes power line inspections through drone technology. Our software delivers efficient, high-quality inspections with zero emissions. Having established a significant presence in our home market of Sweden, where we inspected 10% of the country's power grid in 2023. As we embark on our European expansion journey, we seek a motivated professional to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in key European markets.
Responsibilities
As the Country Manager, you will be the driving force behind our success in your region. With support, expertise, and a playbook from the Swedish headquarters, your responsibilities will include:
Sales and business development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to establish and expand sales and strong relationships with power grid owners.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships with local partners.
Project Leadership
- Project lead power line inspections for customers, ensuring the successful execution of each project.
Build a new flight organization
- Build and lead the new flight organization, including recruiting and managing a team of skilled drone pilots.
- Implement Airpelago’s operational processes to ensure smooth and efficient power line inspections and organizational efficiency.
Drone Regulations
- Stay informed and up-to-date on drone regulations in the specific market, ensuring compliance in all aspects of our operations.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to navigate and influence evolving drone regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Proven track record in B2B sales and relationship management.
- Strong operational and project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in utilizing and leveraging technological tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in drone technology and regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English and the county’s local language(s).
