Our vision for Information Technology at BD

In our BD IT team, we deliver effective and innovative technologies that help us to keep our entire business running day to day.

Our aim is to provide the tools, systems, insights and protection for BD associates to efficiently do their work.

About the role-

To carry out with the smart factory program we need to bring in our organisation a person capable of translating the manufacturing data into actionable insights for our shop floor operators and supervisors.

The work will involve translating OT to IT data integration by driving standardization that will enable manufacturing data analytics.

You will contribute towards overall operational improvements enabled by smart factory data analytics. This is a great opportunity if you are a person with an excellent communication skill and you are passionate about manufacturing, OT & IT data and digital transformation because we will offer you the opportunity to work hand to hand with the business and IT to drive technological infrastructural change in BD organization

Main responsibilities will include :

• Drive data standardization ranging from data acquisition, data cleansing, data management to data analytics enabling KPI / metrics through the digital platform.
• Translate strategy into detailed user requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in extracting, integrating, and analyzing critical data.
• Analyze and solve quantitative problems and questions with technical analysis.
• Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered, providing consistent and effective communication on status and managing escalation and avoiding risk.
• Measure and communicate value realized on a periodic basis through defined and agreed upon metrics and supporting analysis.
• Serve as a continuous connector. Energized by a role that is focused on partnership and facilitation. Operates through the lens of what can we do to simplify and improve things.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or business administration.
• 5 years experience in Smart Factory projects.
• Solid experience in Implementation of ITOT / / Industry 4.0 applications along the value creation process.
• Knowledge of digital platforms such as Aveva.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• You have a profound experience in working in multi-functional, multi-cultural teams as well as a demonstrable ability to work with international teams
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
