Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) - Let’s introduce ourselves
You will be part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) team, where we strive for smart and nimble finance processes by analyzing financials to support the business in the best way. We are currently hiring an Accountant in the Inventory and Fixed Assets team within GAD in our Madrid office (metro Cuzco). What you’ll do
You will be responsible for daily business activities for Fixed Assets Management such as capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. You will handle the daily business activities for Inventory accounting that includes stock movements, manual clearings, error handlings as well as post reclassifications. You will also perform monthly closing activities, depreciations, stock reconciliation and accounting.
Furthermore, you will deliver high quality service and advice within your area of responsibility as well as identifying areas of improvement. You will take an active part in ad hoc harmonization projects and deliver in compliance with current global principles, standards, and frameworks.
What you’ll bring
You have a degree in Finance, Business or equivalent and 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. You have a high level of English (C1). You have a great ability to plan and prioritize and are able to meet deadlines. In addition, you have a strong attention to detail and have great analytical skills. You have preferably been working with SAP FICO previously and a good knowledge of Excel.
