Then come and join our global team as Master Student (f/m/d) to write your thesis in the field of machine learning for simulation of physical effects in x-ray images.

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You research Literature on generative AI Models and physics-informed machine learning
  • You design, implement and evaluate a simulation pipeline for realistic X-ray images from Cone-Beam CT volumes
  • You apply a model for synthetic data generation in interventional X-ray imaging

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are studying in the fields of physics, computer science, medical engineering or related
  • You have prior knowledge in X-ray physics and CT reconstruction
  • You are familiar with modern machine learning frameworks like Pytorch, TensorFlow or Jax
  • Programming languages Python, C++ is a plus

Your attributes and skills:

  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus
  • You have a high motivation to tackle challenging technical problems
  • You have a structured and independent way of working
