A prominent global provider of comprehensive chemical solutions is currently seeking applicants for the role of Manager of Direct Procurement. We are in search of individuals who are open-minded and enthusiastic about contributing to a more vibrant world. Specifically, in Langelsheim, we are recruiting for the role of Manager of Direct Procurement.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Enhancing the company’s cash flow by optimizing existing payment terms with suppliers
• Generating cost-saving synergies that positively impact the company's EBITDA
• Negotiating frame agreements, consignment arrangements, and supplier quality agreements
• Expanding the company’s cash flow through the implementation of consigned inventory strategies

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Preferably, prior experience in a Direct Procurement or Sourcing capacity
• Strategic procurement experience
• Experience in supplier negotiations and identification
• Demonstrated success in increasing Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable EBITDA-related savings
• Proficiency in category management and risk assessment
• Competence in relevant MS Office tools and a solid understanding of SAP
