LOGISTIC COORDINATOR
Location: Bayreuth
Come and join on us on arguably the world's most productive wind farm project as a Logistic Coordinator on a full-time basis working hybrid 2/3 days remote per week.
The individual in this role is tasked with overseeing the interactions among production, warehouse/distribution centres, transportation, and construction sites. This includes considering the coordination of customer demands and the engagement of subcontractors.Top of Form
SIGNIFICANT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Overseeing the planning and supervision of transportation and delivery assignments to guarantee timely delivery of end products.
* Coordinating storage and delivery operations by closely monitoring the warehouse schedule and delivery schedules.
* Streamlining transportation flows concerning routes and cargo loads for enhanced efficiency.
* Verifying the accurate execution of transport permits and requisite transportation documentation, such as supporting company transport initiatives.
* Collaborating with plant logistics for the organized return of empty cable drums.
* Enhancing planning and tracking concepts for optimal efficiency.
* Taking responsibility for crucial logistics metrics in relation to both internal and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
* Successful completion of studies in business administration or engineering, emphasizing logistics, coupled with several years of practical experience and a well-established understanding of the market.
* Proficiency in both German and English at the C1 level or above.
* Demonstrated adaptability and forward-thinking approach, complemented by a strong grasp of economic principles.
* Customer-centric demeanor with excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
* Ability to handle stress and conflicts effectively.
* Proficient negotiation skills, along with perseverance and assertiveness.
