Your tasks

You would like to understand how all the cash flows and risks are managed in a bank? You’d like to understand how banks price loans? Big Data is your world? You want to be part of an agile team and optimize banking processes with data? You enjoy implementing new innovative and creative ideas? Then join our team, spend your internship with us and gain hands-on experience in these various topics! In Treasury we are at the heart of the bank. We provide the business segments with liquidity, ensure solvency, centrally manage the interest rate risks and safeguard the regulatory liquidity ratios. We are at the intersection of a dynamic financial market environment and ever-tighter regulatory requirements. This internship of 3-6 months is designed to gain experience by taking part and supporting us in our projects & day–to–day work. A special focus lies on Data Science, as you will be working with Big Data, and help us to improve your machine learning based models. You will become part of the team and get access to our network of experienced banking professionals and interns across all departments. We provide an invaluable experience in banking management which may make a significant difference to your future career path! If you are interested, we are also open to support you with your thesis on a related topic.

Your profile

• Motivated student in a Bachelor or Master programme or recently graduated within the last 12 months (with a general interest in finance, Treasury and Data Science)
• Strong communication skills, reliable working attitude and cooperative mindset
• Ability to derive practical solutions in a complex environment, analytical mindset•Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and Powerpoint)
• Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL ) are beneficial
• Experience abroad is a plus (whether academic or professional)
• Fluent in English, good command of German
