IT Service Desk Technician

YOUR CAREER: INEOS Automotive are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Service Delivery team in Böblingen. The team is expanding and looking for a resource to provide technical support to the local offices in Böblingen and Weissach, while supporting remotely users and offices abroad. The Service Desk team is a core team within the business, it’s the first point of contact to our users and heavily focusing in customer experience and delivery of technical solution
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support.
- Logging, monitoring and working on incidents or requests through to resolution.
- Supporting a Windows 10 environment.
- Managing user accounts through Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Supporting mobile devices, iOS and Android.
- Provisioning of IT equipment (laptops, phones, peripherals etc.).
- Providing basic network connectivity support.
- Administering and supporting our multi-functional printer devices.
- Administering and supporting our audio-visual and conferring facilities.
- Managing the IT hardware inventory of the office.
- Create user documentation and internal work instructions.
- Work on projects and other IT initiatives.
- Provide after hours and on-call support as needed.
- Occasionally travel abroad to support other offices

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualifications:
- Fluency in German and English written and verbal.
- Degree in a computing/technical discipline preferred.
- An ITIL qualification is desirable.
- An IT certification will be an advantage.

Experience:
- IT Support experience in a IT Service Desk, Operations or technical support environment working to ITIL practices.
- Previous experience managing tickets using an ITSM tool.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10.
- Experience in supporting Android and iOS phones.
- Experience in supporting audio-visual equipment.
- Active Directory knowledge .
- Basic networking knowledge.
