The German Cancer Re­search Center is the largest bio­medi­cal re­search insti­tu­tion in Germany. With more than 3,000 employees, we operate an exten­sive scien­tific program in the field of cancer research.

Together with university partners at seven renowned partner sites, we have established the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK).

Postdoc Position – Microenvironment and Immunology Research

Job description:

The position is located in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Medical Center Freiburg.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated employee with experience in the field of RNA sequencing, single-cell genomics, and spatial transcriptomics. We require experience in the application and development of algorithms. Exceptional knowledge in R and Python is a prerequisite. Additionally, experience and understanding of the biological context and clinical questions should be available. A PhD is preferred, but at least a master's degree is required. Good communication skills in English are expected.
