The Material Coordinator is responsible for
- Preparing material concepts based on contractual requirements and planning for projected long / short -term material demands
- Works with Production, Production Control & Central Material Management functions to achieve on-time completion of Events
- Coordinating material supply during engine / module Shop Visit
- Identifying, evaluating, and implementing cost optimization potential for parts and engines / modules
- Carrying out repair and material benchmarks, coordinating these with the specialist department if necessary and deviating optimization potentials
- Implementing contractual agreements and other services
- Optimizing material usage and processes across all contracts, with regards to the customer's acceptance criteria, and applying this knowledge to other contracts and to quotations for new contracts as well as cross-coordinating those with material planning
- Monitoring and optimization of material data and costs according to contractual agreements for quotation processes and preparing offerings
- Taking care of special tasks

The ideal Material Coordinator should meet the following requirements
- High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required
- Bachelor degree required. Degree in a (industrial) engineering discipline from a university or technical college; or in individual cases proven equal qualification
- Master degree desirable
- Experience in customer and supplier relationships
- Good knowledge of aviation law
- Evidence of good business expertise and an in-depth technical understanding
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal processes and complexities of the aviation industry, particularly in engine maintenance
- Fluent English language required
- Polish language required
- Commercial and technical understanding
- Understanding project management methods and techniques
- Experience in Customer and supplier relationships
- High level of taking own initiative, independent and systematic
- Awareness and capability to manage interfaces including assertiveness
- High level of flexibility, ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel
- Constant time pressure
- High stress levels
